Give Purrs a Chance is a non-profit cat adoption center located in Berkeley Springs, WV. We are the largest square footage cat café in the country with the most cats for adoption. We opened our doors in May of 2017 and have had the honor of placing over 1,100 cats/kittens into their furever home so far! We work with four regional rescue organizations to take in vetted, spayed/neutered cats and kittens. They are able to free roam in our two story Victorian house and freely socialize with visitors and each other while they await adoption. To help offset the cost, we charge a low admission fee which gives visitors all day access to get to know our wonderful cats. We also have a incredible Catique Boutique with hundreds of items for sale both vintage and new. We have contracted with many local artists and craftspeople to offer ceramics, jewelry, soaps, textiles and many other cat related items.Our mission is simple; enabling you to adopt and never shop for your pets. The rescued cats at Give Purrs A Chance are in search for the furever homes. They have come to us from cold, empty parking lots, broken homes or lost their forever human partner. All of our currently available adopatables are viewable on Petfinder. If you are interested in getting pre-approved for one of our feline friends, please fill out and return the Give Purrs A Chance adoption form and attach and email to catcafe@givepurrsachance.org. An adoption fee of $125 is required. To expedite the adoption process, forward or bring along a copy of your vet records for any other household pets plus a copy of your lease agreement showing pets are allowed.
