Gail's Pets Second Chance - Oakland Pet Shelter

Gail’s Pets Second Chance, a 501(c)(3) organization, exists solely to provide a haven for abandoned, unwanted, or abused pets while they await forever homes. From the hands-on interaction provided by our all-volunteer crew, to the medical services rendered by our veterinarian and his staff, our goal is to provide compassionate care to these animals in need. Our sanctuary is located in Oakland, Arkansas, in the Ozark Mountains on the shores of beautiful Bull Shoals Lake in the heart of the Ozarks. By auto, we are approximately two hours from Springfield, Missouri, and just over four hours from Little Rock and St. Louis.
