Cats In Need-Fullerton is a volunteer-run, non-profit, no-kill Southern California rescue group organized to bring homeless adoptable cats and potential life-long owners together. Located inside the Fullerton PetsMart at 1411 South Harbor Boulevard Fullerton, CA 92832. Adoption shows are held every Saturday 11:00am - 4:00pm. There are cats available for viewing in the adoption center during the week, but many of our adoptable cats and kittens are kept in foster homes. Fostered cats are brought in for viewing only during adopting events. Cats In Need promotes pet sterilization and responsible veterinary care. All available cats have been spayed or neutered as well as tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped and are current on all vaccinations.
Cats In Need has a goal of lifetime placement for its rescue cats. Adoption and home requirements are outlined by a Board of Directors who reserve the right to review all adoption applications. The reason for the application is to help ensure that we match up the right cat to the right family. These procedures reduce the amount of stress the cat goes through and helps them enter into their new home with ease. CIN can help in many ways with introducing a cat into its new environment, however, if at any time the adoption doesn’t work out for any reason, Cats in Need will take the cat back.
