The Bulloch County Animal Services in Statesboro, Georgia has been in its new facility for approximately 10 years now. The shelter houses 15 kennels for Feline Adoption, 18 kennels for Feline Isolation/Holding, 24 kennels for Canine Adoption and 24 kennels for Canine Isolation/Holding. This is a huge increase from the capabilities of the old facility. We have also renovated part of our old shelter to be able to house sickly, aggressive or ones that need to be held for open court cases. This too gives an additional 17 kennels for dog holding. The Shelter features a spacious waiting room, public bathrooms, two adoption rooms for future pet owners to get to know potential pets and a play yard for exercise and play time.
